For any financial transaction, now it is mandatory to have PAN card. And government has decided linking of pan card with aadhaar number to end the economical fraud, because there are many people who has more then one pan card.

 

So if you have pan card number and aadhar number both then it is mandatory to link each other before 1 July 2017.

 

If you will not link these two number to each other than you will be in trouble.


- Your Pan card can be cancelled

If this linking process will be not done before 1 July, your pan card can be cancelled. And also you can not do the ITR.


- Your salary might be stopped

If your salary is more than taxable amount and because of your pan card will cancel. As Pan card is mandatory for the TDS.


You can follow the below step to update your pan card with aadhar number.

 

1. Click on the below link

https://incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in/e-Filing/Services/LinkAadhaarHome.html

A window will be open where you have to enter your pan card number, aadhar number and your correct name. Than you have to fill the captcha. After filling all the details you can see option to Link Aadhar, and after clicking on this button your pan card will be linked with aadhar number.

 


2. You can see the success message after completion of process.
